After calling her instructor “Hey Baby” in class, a Covenant Polytechnic student provoked a humorous and surprising response that made many social media users laugh.
The student, who goes by @divinejhay2 on TikTok, is well-known for addressing her lecturer with loving nicknames. She nonchalantly said, “Hey Baby,” as she entered the classroom in the now-viral footage. “My love, I didn’t know you would come today,” was the lecturer’s kind response rather than a resentful one.
The student continued the light-hearted conversation by describing the speaker as handsome and complimenting his appearance. “I am blushing,” he responded amusingly, igniting a dynamic and upbeat classroom environment.
Since then, the video has gone viral, and online users have praised the lecturer’s cheerful and friendly demeanour.
