INTRODUCTION
SALBAIR NEB 1.25MG TRANSPULE contains Levosalbutamol which belongs to theroup of medicines called Bronchodilators. It is indicated in the treatment or prevention of bronchospasm (constriction of airways) in adults, adolescents, and children between 6-11 years old with reversible obstructive airway disease.
Your doctor might ask you to take several diagnostic tests before starting the treatment with SALBAIR NEB 1.25MG TRANSPULE.
It should be used with caution in patients having cardiovascular disorders (coronary insufficiency, cardiac arrhythmias, and high blood pressure), kidney diseases, epilepsy, overactive thyroidland, and diabetes.
Caution must be exercised while using SALBAIR NEB 1.25MG TRANSPULE in pregnant and breast-feeding women. Consult with your doctor before using.
SALBAIR NEB 1.25MG TRANSPULE is not recommended for use in children below 6 years of age. Consult your doctor immediately if you experience any side effects.

HOW SALBAIR NEB 1.25MG TRANSPULE WORKS
SALBAIR NEB 1.25MG TRANSPULE helps in the treatment and prevention of bronchospasm acts by relaxing smooth muscle in the bronchial tubes (airway) to increase air flow and relieve shortness of breath by activation of an enzyme which inhibits the release of cells called mast cells which are responsible for causing asthma.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Use SALBAIR NEB 1.25MG TRANSPULE as advised by your physician. It is for oral inhalational use only. It is administered by nebulisation using with nebuliser (with a face mask or mouthpiece) which is connected to an air compressor. Your doctor willuide on how to use the nebuliser. Do not exceed the recommended dose of SALBAIR NEB 1.25MG TRANSPULE. Check the label for directions before use.
Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration of SALBAIR NEB 1.25MG TRANSPULE for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition.
SIDE EFFECTS OF SALBAIR NEB 1.25MG TRANSPULE
RARE
Stop using SALBAIR NEB 1.25MG TRANSPULE and inform your doctor immediately if you experience any of the following side effects:
Sudden shortness of breath (constriction of airways)
Asthmaetting worsen
Severe allergic rection presenting as swelling of the face, throat or tongue, hives, rash, breathing problems
Heart problems (changes in heart rate or blood pressure)
Low potassium levels in blood

PREGNANCY
SALBAIR NEB 1.25MG TRANSPULE should be used with caution in pregnant women or women planning to have a baby as safety and effectiveness to the baby and mother has not been established yet. Dose will be adjusted by your doctor. Consult your doctor before using it.
BREASTFEEDING
SALBAIR NEB 1.25MG TRANSPULE should be used with caution in breastfeeding women as it is not known if SALBAIR NEB 1.25MG TRANSPULE passes through mother?s milk. Consult your doctor before using it.
KIDNEY
SALBAIR NEB 1.25MG TRANSPULE should be used with caution in patients with kidney problems. Consult your doctor before using it.
ALLERGY
Do not use SALBAIR NEB 1.25MG TRANSPULE if you are allergic to Levosalbutamol or any other ingredients of this medicine.
HEART DISEASE
SALBAIR NEB 1.25MG TRANSPULE should be used with caution in patients with heart diseases such as coronary insufficiency, irregular heartbeat, and high blood pressure. Consult your doctor before using.
OTHERS
Before using SALBAIR NEB 1.25MG TRANSPULE tell your doctor if you have:
Epilepsy
Thyroid problems
Diabetes

Before using SALBAIR NEB 1.25MG TRANSPULE inform your doctor if you are taking any of the following medicine:
Other short acting bronchodilators such as albuterol, terbutaline (used to treat asthma)
Beta blockers such as metoprolol, propranolol (used to treat irregular heartbeat)
Digoxin (used to treat heart diseases)
Diuretics (water medicines) such as furosemide, chlorothiazide
Isocarboxazid, tricyclic antidepressants such as nortriptyline, amitriptyline (used to treat depression)
Halothane, enflurane, isoflurane, desflurane, sevoflurane (used as anaesthetics)
Corticosteroids (anti-inflammatory drug Ex. dexamethasone, hydrocortisone)
Overdosage:
If you or anyone else accidentally use too much of SALBAIR NEB 1.25MG TRANSPULE, consult your doctor immediately or visit the nearby hospital. The symptoms of overdosage of SALBAIR NEB 1.25MG TRANSPULE are fastened heart rate, nervousness, headache, tremor, dry mouth, palpitation, nausea, dizziness, fatigue, and sleeplessness.
