Uses
This medicine is used to treat wheezing and shortness of breath caused by breathing problems (such as asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease).
Side Effects
Nervousness, shaking (tremor), headache, mouth/throat dryness or irritation, changes in taste, cough, nausea or dizziness may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly.
When not to use
It is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to the drug.

SALBUT 4MG TABLET belongs to the class of ?bronchodilators? primarily used to treat asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). SALBUTAMOL 4MG TABLET helps to relieve symptoms like coughing, wheezing and shortness of breath.

Salbutamol treats acute and severe bronchospasm.

Also, it treats uncomplicated premature labour and arrests? preterm labour.
Salbutamol Tablets are indicated in adults, adolescents and children aged 2 to 12 years.
1. For the relief of bronchospasm in bronchial asthmas of all types.
2. Chronic bronchitis.
3. Emphysema.
The drug is well tolerated by children so that, if necessary, these doses may be cautiously increased.
For oral use.
As salbutamol is probably secreted in breast milk its use in nursing mothers requires careful consideration.
It is not known whether salbutamol has a harmful effect on the neonate, and so its use should be restricted to situations where it is felt that the expected benefit to the mother is likely to outweigh any potential risk to the neonate.
