Dosage
One tablet to be taken four to five times a day as directed by your doctor.

It should be swallowed whole with plenty of fluids with or without food.
Side effects
The most common side effects of acyclovir 200mg are nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. If vomiting occurs within two hours of taking the medication, another tablet should be taken.
