Adrenalin Indications
– Allergic reactions of the immediate type: anaphylactic shock developed in the use of drugs, serums, blood transfusions, insect bites or contact with allergens.
– Bronchial asthma – relief attack.
– Arterial hypotension of various genesis (posthemorrhagic, intoxication, infectious).
– Hypoglycemia due to overdose of insulin.
– Asystole, heart stop.
– Extending the action of local anesthetics.
– AV-blockade of the III degree, which has developed sharply.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug; hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy, severe aortic stenosis, tachyarrhythmia, ventricular fibrillation, pheochromocytoma, catarrhal glaucoma, shock (except anaphylactic), general anesthesia with the use of inhalants: fluorothane, cyclopropane, chloroform; second period of childbirth; application in the areas of the fingers and toes, in the nose, genital areas.
Dosage & Administration
Appoint intramuscularly, subcutaneously, sometimes – intravenously, intracardiac (conduction of resuscitation at cardiac arrest). When administered intramuscularly, it starts to act faster than with subcutaneous.
Dosage mode is individual.
