You can step on it, sit on it, lie on it, lift it up or press it against a wall, depending on the exercise you are doing. For example, you can challenge your balance and perfect it with this exercise.
Sit on the ball with your feet on the floor in front of the ball.
Straighten your spine and raise the crown of your head up.
Slowly lift your right leg off the floor and stretch it out straight.
Hold it in the air for about five seconds.
Do the same with your left leg.
Repeat the exercise to your desired repetitions.
