Vial is a small recipient in the form of a beaker or bottle intended to contain injectable medication, from which convenient doses are withdrawn. It is used to store medicines or reagents in liquid, powder or capsule form. It can also be used as a sample container.
Empty pharmaceutical container for antibiotics with a 20 mm mouth, manufactured in soda-lime glass type II and III (soda-lime glass) complying with the specifications of the European Pharmacopoeia and the United States.
The quality control system ensures dimensional characteristics, thermal shock resistance, hydrolytic resistance and pressure resistance.
Type III soda-lime glass is the most common glass. Type II soda-lime glass is suitable for containing products that may come into contact with blood and is treated with sodium sulphate (Na2SO4), which results in high hydrolytic resistance. Type III glass after treatment with sodium sulphate becomes type II glass (soda-lime-silica glass with high hydrolytic resistance).
The powder inside the vial is sodium sulphate powder, which is highly soluble in water and is completely removed by cleaning with water. All our vials should be washed before use. Sterilization by steam autoclaving at 135 ?C.
Separate sale of septum and aluminium capsule available.
