Description

This model of coil cooler for Soxhlet equipment is an essential component in extraction and distillation processes in chemical laboratories. This device is made of borosilicate glass 3.3, known for its high thermal and chemical resistance, which guarantees durability and safety in use.

The central tube has a coil or spiral-shaped tube and is called a ?cooling jacket?. The length of the jacket is 160 mm.

It has two standard ground joints that ensure a tight and efficient connection with other laboratory equipment. The upper and lower jaws are ground; the upper jaws are female 14/23 and the lower jaws are male 14/23. The use of clamps is recommended to ensure proper sealing of the ground glass joints (see below).

The design of the condenser is characterised by a double internal spiral through which the refrigerant circulates, allowing both the inlet and outlet of the refrigerant to be located at the top. The vapours rise through the outer tube from the bottom to the top, which maximises the efficiency of vapour condensation during Soxhlet extraction processes.

The borosilicate glass used in its manufacture provides the coolant with excellent resistance to thermal shock and aggressive chemicals, ensuring its integrity and performance in dielectric processes.

We offer a range of models and sizes to meet every need.
