Description

2?,3?-cGAMP sodium salt is a mammalian, noncanonical cyclic dinucleotide with a higher binding potency for human STING than 2?2?-cGAMP and 3?3?-cGAMP. The enzyme cGAMP synthase initiates cGAMP production in the presence of cytosolic DNA, triggering an immune response through the STING pathway. Addition of 2?,3?-cGAMP to vaccination of porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus virus-like particles in piglets resulted in enhanced virus replication but did not increase disease severity.
