Complete kits for qualitative fit testing of respirator masks. Includes everything required to conduct a fit test - required in all industries where tight-fitting facepieces are used as a control measure. Suitable for assessment of disposable respirators and half face masks.?These testing solutions are available in two ?flavours? ? FT-10 range is sweet tasting and the FT-30 range is bitter tasting. The FT-10 range uses sodium saccharin that produces a sweet tasting aerosol and FT-30 range uses denatonium benzoate to produce a very bitter taste. Includes hood, two nebulisers, sensitivity and fit test solutions and user instructions. Fit Testing Requirements If your company uses tight-fitting respiratory protective equipment (RPE) then a fit test is a legal requirement. The fit test functions to ensure the mask correctly fits the wearer?s face and therefore is able to provide its stated respiratory protection. Ill-fitting masks will not have the required tight seal and are leaky and vulnerable to bypass by contaminants.?
