Description

The Petri dish is a shallow cylindrical glass or plastic container with a lid that is used to grow cells or small organisms in the laboratory.

The culture dish is a round container with a lid of the same shape as the dish, but slightly larger in diameter so that it can be placed on top and the container can be closed, but not hermetically sealed.

The bottom and lid are flat on both the inside and outside to facilitate even distribution of the culture medium and to ensure high transparency.

Petri dishes are used to grow bacteria, fungi and other microorganisms, as well as for various laboratory experiments. They are also used to observe cell growth, study the effects of drugs or other substances.

Available in various diameters.
