Occasionally, fever has occured within the first 3 weeks administration of Methyldopa

Rare cases of fatal hepatic necrosis have been reported. Patients may require reduced doses of anaesthetics when on therapy with Methyldopa.

Contraindication
Patients with active hepatic disease, such as acute hepatitis and active cirrhosis.

Patients with hypersensitivity to any component of the products. Patients on therapy with Monoamine Oxidase (MAO) inhibitors.
