Atrovent 500 mcg / 2 ml solution
Atrovent contains pratopium Bromide.
An anticholinergic agent that inhibits vagal-mediated reflexes by acetylcholine antagonism and decreases the intracellular cGMP of the bronchial smooth muscles leading to bronchodilation.
Atrovent Indications:
? Short-term relief of asthma.
? Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
? Rhinitis.
How to use atrovent:
As per as direction of the doctor.

? Headache.
? Nausea.
? Dry Mouth.
Cautions:
? Caution in patients with prostatic hyperplasia, and bladder outflow obstruction.
? It should be used with caution with patients having cystic fibrosis as they may be prone to GIT motility disturbances.
? Eye pain or discomfort, blurred vision, visual halos, or colored images in association with red eyes.
Atrovent Interactions:
? Pasireotide: the risk of bradycardia increases when pasireotide is given with ipratropium.
