Clifton CM-1 Cyclone Vortex Mixer

CM-1 Clifton vortex mixing eliminates the chances of contamination from stirring rods and stoppers by creating a vortex within the tube. This improves the repeatability of the results. This unit is fitted with an automatic press-start operation which provides instant action when the tube is pressed onto the rubber cap. This is benefical when undertaking repetitve mixing of samples. This vortex mixer has variable mixing speeds of 200 to 2800 rpm on a 7mm orbit.?This allows for very slow gentle mixing which is necessary in many applications, particularly where damage to cell structure must be avoided. The unit may be set up for continuous running at the chosen speed or on demand by inserting the tube into the cup. The skirted rubber cup helps prevent liquid entering the casing. The cup accepts vessels up to 25mm diameter. Excellent stability is achieved as a result of a combination of weight and non-slip feet.
