Product Description
The gas generation of aluminum powder refers to the volume of hydrogen that can be released when the unit mass of aluminum powder fully reacts with water under the standard state. For 1g aluminum, the theoretical gas output is 1.24l in standard state. However, the industrial aluminum powder always contains a small amount of impurities, some of which are oxidized into alumina, so that the actual gas generation of aluminum powder is lower than the theoretical value. Although, the more metal content in aluminum powder, the greater the gas generation. In the aerated concrete slurry, the more active aluminum can participate in the reaction (aluminum that can participate in the gas generation reaction and generate hydrogen is called active aluminum, while in the aluminum powder paste, another indicator different from active aluminum is solid content), the greater the actual gas generation.
