Description
Formulazione avanzata in gel che, grazie ai suoi componenti, contribuisce a migliorare l?aspetto delle cicatrici (cicatrici ipertrofiche, ispessimenti cutanei e/o cheloidi) secondarie a interventi chirurgici o a insulti lesivi di varia natura. L?estratto di Allium cepa (cipolla), ad alto contenuto di quercetina, favorisce il corretto processo di cicatrizzazione, oltre a ridurre il rossore e il prurito del tessuto in formazione. La presenza di allantoina contribuisce all?effetto lenitivo, mentre l?acido ialuronico a basso peso molecolare e il condroitin solfato supportano l?idratazione e l?elasticit? cutanea. Il gel a base di pullulano forma un film protettivo che mantiene l?idratazione fisiologica del tessuto cicatriziale e permette un rapido ammorbidimento e appiattimento della cicatrice; l?applicazione di Kaloidon facilita, quindi, un massaggio ottimale della cicatrice. Su cicatrici particolarmente ispessite Kaloidon pu? essere applicato anche in compressiva.

Mode of use.
It is recommended to massage the skin with the movements below:
1. perform circular motions both on and around the scar;
2. run your fingers parallel to the scar line in both directions;
3. move the fingers in a zigzag pattern along the scar.
On particularly hardened tissue, prolong the massage for about 15 minutes, repeating 4-5 times. On very thickened scars, Kaloidon can also be used in compression.
Kaloidon should be used after spot removal on undamaged skin. Apply on clean, dry skin, two or more times a day, an appropriate amount of product to the area to be treated and massage until completely absorbed.
It is recommended that Kaloidon be used continuously for at least 2 months on newly formed scars; on already developed scars and keloids, application can be extended up to 3-6 months.

Components
Aqua, propylene glycol, pullulan, triethanolamine, alcohol, Allium cepa bulb extract, phenoxyethanol, carbomer, allantoin, sodium benzoate, glycosaminoglycans, tetrasodium EDTA, benzoic acid, sodium hyaluronate, dehydroacetic acid.

Warnings
Use of the product is contraindicated in cases of established hypersensitivity to the components. For external use. Do not ingest. Keep out of the reach of children. Do not use if the package is damaged (if the aluminum seal on the tube opening is missing).
Kaloidon is a transparent gel with a dark amber color; any differences in shade are attributable to the natural origin of the onion extract.

Conservation
Store in a cool, dry place and away from heat sources.
