Xaltide Inhaler Hfa 1's Uses This product is used to control and prevent symptoms (wheezing and shortness of breath) caused by asthma or ongoing lung disease (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease-COPD, which includes chronic bronchitis and emphysema). Side Effects Headache, throat irritation, or stomach upset may occur. Tell your doctor right away if any of these unlikely but serious side effects occur: white patches on tongue/in mouth, signs of infection (such as fever, persistent sore throat), mental/mood changes (such as nervousness), trouble sleeping, vision problems (such as blurred vision), increased thirst/urination, muscle cramps, shaking (tremors). When not to use Patients with active tuberculosis. inactive tuberculosis. herpes simplex infection of the eye. nasal infection due to the fungus Candida albicans. infection due to a parasite. Adrenocortical Insufficiency, Increased Pressure in the Eye, Wide-Angle Glaucoma should not take this drug.
