The National Examinations Council (NECO) has not extended the deadline for internal registration for the Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) in 2024.
The registration period, which commenced on Monday, December 18th, 2023, will conclude on Monday, June 3rd, 2024. The grace period for late registration, which incurs an additional charge, is from Tuesday, June 4, 2024, to Monday, June 10, 2024.
Stakeholders, including candidates, school principals, commandants, and state ministries of education, are urged by the Council to disregard social media posts that falsely claim an extension of the registration period until Monday, June 20th, 2024.
The SSCE Internal 2024 is scheduled to run from the 19th of June to the 26th of July. The examination will encompass an evaluation of 76 subjects for the candidates.
