INTRODUCTION
SALBUSUN T TABLET is a combination of Salbutamol and Theophylline which belongs to theroup of medicines called Anti-asthmatic drugs. It is used to treat and prevent asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It can also be used to treat chronic bronchitis (inflammation of the bronchus), bronchospasm (narrowing of airways), emphysema (shortness of breath) and sometimes even heart failure.
Asthma is a long-term respiratory disease in which your airways become inflamed, swollen and narrowed. COPD is a lung disease characterized by chronic lung inflammation and obstructed air flow within the airways. It causes wheezing, breathing difficulties, cough with mucus production and chest pain.
