Reducing sockets are your best friend when the straight plumbing line along which you want to connect two pipes differ in sizes. This 6″ x 4″ reducing socket is used for waste water and for plumbing lines that the water flowing through them is not pressurised. It is used to connect a 6″ and 4″ pipes together to continue the straight line.
