Description

Pelroze (vitamin c) is a supplement. It is essential vitamin that support various aspects in human health.Vitamin c is best known for its effect as an antioxidant and its  roles in maintaining proper immune function.

Side effects and special precaution:

large dose may cause excessive urine, diarrhea, other gastro-intestinal disturbances,and the formation of renal calcium oxalate calculi. Acidification of the urine by ascorbic acid may cause precipitation of cystine or oxalate stones in the urinary tractand will alter the excretion of certain drugs administered concurrently.    Very large doses of vitamin c ,therefore should be avoided in patient  with tendency of guot. Tolerance may be induced in patient taking high doses. Ascorbic acid in dose greater than 1 g daily should not be taken during pregnancy since the effects of large doses on the foetus is unknown and may cause rebound scurvy in infants.
