How to use Metronidazole 400mg tabs 100s
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Metronidazole is to be taken with food.
Avoid Metronidazole with herbs/food with anti-platelet activity such as alfalfa, anise, bilberry, grape seed, green tea, turmeric, fenugreek, garlic, ginger.
Precautions
Metronidazole may cause symptoms such as flushing, increased heartbeat, nausea, thirst, chest pain and low blood pressure with alcohol (Disulfiram reactions) thus alcohol should be avoided while on medication.
Metronidazole is safe to use in patients with kidney disease but should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment ofMetronidazole may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
