Tenosan Agave – Food Supplement Tenosan is a food supplement useful for keeping tendons healthy. To keep tendons healthy, it is important to have an active lifestyle that includes constant, moderate-intensity motor activity. This, associated with a correct diet, guarantees the physiological blood perfusion of the tendons which represent a low metabolism tissue.
Following repeated overloads (“overuse”), the tendons lose their structural characteristics with loss of the normal architecture of type I collagen and the replacement of the latter with amorphous material, the reduction of the physiological blood perfusion of the tendon body and the onset of inflammatory phenomena. These conditions are at the basis of tendinopathies that recognize overuse as a trigger in about 95% of cases. Tenosan is based on L-arginine alpha ketoglutarate, OptiMSM, hydrolyzed collagen type I, ViNitrox, TruBeet, vitamins C and D3. Tenosan is indicated in all cases of insufficient intake in the diet or increased need for talinutrients. Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. Vitamin D contributes to the maintenance of abnormal muscle function.
