To reduce elevated cholesterol and triglycerides in patient with mixed dyslipidemia (Fredrickson Type Ia and Ib). For the treatment of patients with elevated serum triglyceride levels in hypertriglyceridaemia (Fredrickson Type IV). For the treatment of patients with dysbetalipoproteinaemia (Fredrickson Type III).
