3M? E-A-R? UltraFit? Earplugs are made with a triple-flange design to contour?to the different shapes and sizes of ear canals to help create a comfortable noise-blocking seal. These earplugs are made of a pliable, soft polymer that can be washed so that the earplugs can be reused, cutting down costs and extending the product life.
Easy to use- hold the stems to insert the triple flange ear tips into the ear canals. One size designed to fit most. Options include with or without cord to suit user preference. Cord material options include vinyl or cloth. EARfit testable to help validate the level of protection the individual user is getting.

Noise reduction rating (NRR)*: 25 dB for standard Ultrafit and 27 dB for Ultrafit 27.

*U.S. EPA specifies the NRR as the measure of hearing protector noise reduction. However, 3M makes no warranties as to the suitability of the NRR for this purpose. 3M strongly recommends personal fit testing of hearing protectors.
Research suggests that users may receive less noise reduction than indicated by the attenuation label value(s) on the packaging due to variation in fit, fitting skill, and motivation of the user. Refer to applicable regulations or guidance on how to adjust attenuation label values. It is recommended that the NRR be reduced by 50% to better estimate typical protection.

How to use, care and clean
Care & Cleaning
The number of times reusable earplugs can be reused depends on how they are handled, washed and other environmental factors. They should be inspected before each use and replaced if they shrink or swell, harden or soften, tear, crack, or become permanently deformed. Wash them in warm, soapy water and rinse well. When dry, store them in the provided carrying case or similar sealed container.?
