Almond Seedlings
Description
Almond seedlings are young green twigs at first before becoming purple when exposed to sunlight and growing to become deciduous trees. Almond is characterized by a hard shell. The edible portion – the nut is exposed when it is cracked.
Almond (Prunus amygdalus) grows best in Mediterranean climates which are arid and hot and can still survive in a mild winter climate
The plant requires a lot of water due to its best-growing climatic conditions–hot and arid
Almond seedlings are usually 126 – 152 cm tall and grow up to 4-10m as matured fruiting trees.
