Composition
Brimonidine tartrate 0.15% (1.5 mg/ml) preserved with Sodium Chlorite. Brimonidine tartrate is an alpha adrenergic receptor agonist; it has a dual mechanism of action by reducing aqueous humor production and increasing uveoscleral outflow.

Oral dryness
Ocular hyperemia

Precautions
Before using?Alphanova solution, inform your doctor about your current list of medications, over the counter products (e.g. vitamins, herbal supplements, etc.), allergies, pre-existing diseases, and current health conditions (e.g. pregnancy, upcoming surgery, etc.). Close your eyes for 2 or 3 minutes with your head tipped
Consult your doctor if you suffer from severe cardiovascular disease, hepatic and renal impairment, cerebral and coronary insufficiency, raynaud’s phenomenon, orthostatic hypotension, thromboangiitis obliterans and lactation
Do not touch dropper tip to any surface to avoid contamination
Do not touch the tip of the eye dropper
Do not use after expiration date
Do not use if eye drop has changed color
Do not use if solution changes color or becomes cloudy
Gently press your finger to the inside corner of the eye
If using other opthalmic medication, wait 5 minutes between uses
Remove contact lenses before medication use and can reinsert contacts after 15 minutes
