Fanlar 500Mg 25*3 tabs are indicated for the treatment of acute, uncomplicated P. falciparum?malaria for those patients in whom chloroquine?resistance?is suspected.
Sulfadoxine and pyrimethamine combination may cause some serious side effects. Is generally used only to prevent or treat where serious malaria infections are prominent.
This medicine is usually not recommended with any of the following medicines but may be required in some cases,
Your doctor may change the dose or how often you use one or both of the medicines.

Carbamazepine.
Cholera Vaccine, Live.
Methotrexate.
Sapropterin.
Sulfamethoxazole.
Trimethoprim.
Zidovudine.

Prevention of Malaria
The first dose of Fanlar 500mg 25*3 tabs should be taken 1 or 2 days before arrival in an endemic area; administration should be continued during the stay and for 4 to 6 weeks after return.
