Fansidar tabs 150s tabs are indicated for the treatment of acute, uncomplicated P. falciparum malaria for those patients in whom chloroquine resistance is suspected.
Sulfadoxine and pyrimethamine combination may cause some serious side effects. Is generally used only to prevent or treat where serious malaria infections are prominent.
Fansidar tabs 150s tablets are usually not recommended with any of the following medicines but may be required in some cases,

Prevention of Malaria
The first dose should be taken 1 or 2 days before arrival in an endemic area; administration should be continued during the stay and for 4 to 6 weeks after return.
