Film developing tanks are devices used for processing photographic film. They are designed to hold the film and chemical solutions needed for developing, fixing, and washing the film. The tank usually consists of a light-tight container with a spiraling reel that allows the film to be wound around it. The reel can be rotated to agitate the film in the chemical solutions for even processing.
