General Warnings
Congestive heart failure
This medicine may cause fluid accumulation and may increase the risk of congestive heart failure. Therefore, it should be taken in combination with loop diuretics to prevent fluid accumulation. Monitoring of body weight and heart function is necessary.
Mlignant hypertension
Follinox 2.00% Soln 60 ml may lower the blood pressure than required. Therefore, patients with high blood pressure should be treated with this medicine in the hospital setting. Close monitoring of blood pressure is necessary. Any signs of low blood pressure should be reported to the doctor immediately.
Scalp irritation
This medicine is not recommended in patients with severe scalp irritation or any known allergy to alcohol or propylene glycol.
Androgenic alopecia in men
This medicine is only recommended in males for the treatment of alopecia androgenetica. It is not recommended if hair loss due to other causes.
Unwanted hair growth
This medicine may cause the unwanted growth of hair on face, arms and back. The patient should be counseled about this unwanted hair growth and advised to inform the doctor if the condition worsen.
Temporary shedding of hair
This medicine may cause temporary shedding of hair at the beginning of the treatment. This shedding is due to the growth of new hair at the place of old hair and subsidies in a couple of weeks. The treatment should be discontinued if the shedding persists.
