The Horizontal Auger Feeder with Cutter ISRK-15F Hozain is a universal transport-technological means for crushing, mixing and dispensing feed mixtures (green mass of silage, hay, hay, feed, etc.) and differs from the basic model ISRK-12 by the presence of a loading cutter designed for loading silage directly from the silo trench. Excavation and loading of the silo with a cutter is carried out in vertical layers without disturbing the integrity of the adjacent layers, which protects the feed from secondary fermentation. The reversible milling cutter allows loading the silo along the entire trench height up to 4 meters with a capacity of at least 3.0 tons in 5 minutes. The cutting width is 1.5 m. |

The silage is loaded with a cutter and the feed components are mixed in the mixing hopper of the feeder at the same time. Along the diameter of the milling drum, there are special cutting knives that provide chopping and gripping of the forage mass during rotation. To ensure optimal loading conditions, the lowering speed of the cutter is regulated using autonomous hydraulics, controlled by the tractor operator from the tractor cab. To load the forage mass into the hopper of the feeder both from the top and from the bottom, the cutter has the ability to reverse rotation.

If the loading is exceeded more than the permissible load on the cutter, the arrow stops. In order to avoid the loss of feed in the subsoil, the feeder is equipped with a bulldozer knife for feeding the remains of the subsoil into the loading area.

That is why its application is most justified for farms with medium and large livestock of cattle, as well as where there are increased requirements for the efficiency and productivity of the feeding process of cattle.
