INTRODUCTION
IRRION 30.55MG SUSPENSION contains Ferrous ascorbate and Folic acid which belongs to the group of medicines called Hematinics. It is used to treat and prevent iron deficiency anaemia during pregnancy, lactation, post-surgery, haemodialysis?or blood loss during periods.
Anemia is when your body can?t produce enough of haemoglobin (a substance in red blood cells that enables them to carry oxygen), due to insufficient iron. Avoid consuming alcohol while taking IRRION 30.55MG SUSPENSION.
IRRION 30.55MG SUSPENSION is not recommended for use if you have iron overload disorders, haemoglobinopathies, inflammatory bowel disease or an active stomach ulcer. Before taking IRRION 30.55MG SUSPENSION, inform your doctor if you have erythropoietic protoporphyria, diabetes, high blood pressure?or any kidney or liver issues.
IRRION 30.55MG SUSPENSION should be used in pregnancy only if clearly needed. Safety and efficacy of IRRION 30.55MG SUSPENSION in children have not been established so, consult your child?s doctor for advice.
The most common side effects of taking IRRION 30.55MG SUSPENSION are stomach upset, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, dark stools, stomach pain and temporary staining of teeth. If any of the symptoms worsen, call your doctor.

IRRION 30.55MG SUSPENSION helps treat and prevent anaemia where Ferrous ascorbate aids in the formation of haemoglobin (substance that carries oxygen to tissues and organs via blood) and Folic acid helps maintain the normal formation of new red blood cells (erythropoiesis).

Nausea:

Constipation:

Iron overload disorders (Ex. haemosiderosis, haemochromatosis)

Haemoglobinopathies (abnormal haemoglobin production)

Inflammatory bowel disease

An active stomach ulcer
Before taking IRRION 30.55MG SUSPENSION, inform your doctor if you:
