Jawabutamol syrup is an alternative to sabutamol tablets for those cases where liquid therapy is preferred and is indicated for the relief of bronchospasm associated with:

• Bronchial asthma of all types
• Chronic bronchitis
• Emphysema.

Jawabutamol syrup is suitable for treating bronchospasm in patients with coexisting heart disease or hypertension because at bronchodilatating doses, it does not increase cardiac work or oxygen consumption.

Jawabutamol is used to prevent bronchospasm or as continuous therapy, if spasm and wheezing are regularly present.
