Barbimycin 125mg Oral Suspension is an antibiotic oral suspension which contains erythromycin as active ingredient.
Erythromycin is used to treat a wide variety of bacterial infections. It may also be used to prevent certain bacterial infections.
Erythromycin is known as a macrolide antibiotic. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria. This antibiotic treats or prevents only bacterial infections.
Preparation of the suspension:

To make 60ml of the suspension, add boiled and cooled water up to 40ml mark, invert and shake the bottle until all powder is dispersed, gradually add more water up to 60ml mark and shake very well. Always shake well before taking each dose.
