Klovinal is a vaginal pessary that contains Clotrimazole, Metronidazole and Lactobacillus Spores. It is indicated for the treatment of vaginal infections- both fungal and bacterial infections such as Vulvovaginal Candidiasis( Toilet Infection), Bacterial Vaginosis and?Trichomonas Vaginalis?as well as restores a healthy vaginal floral. The vaginal flora are the bacteria that live inside the vagina. The normal vaginal flora are dominated by various lactobacillus species. Lactobacilli help to keep the vagina healthy by producing lactic acid, hydrogen peroxide, and other substances that inhibit the growth of yeast and other unwanted organisms.
Vaginal infections are one of the most common gynecological diseases with significant psychological and clinical implications. Vaginal infections can cause vaginal discharge, discomfort, and vaginal odor. However, these symptoms do not necessarily indicate an infection. Instead, they may result from other conditions that affect the vagina.
