INTRODUCTION
REZULUNG D TABLET contains Acebrophylline, desloratadine and montelukast that help in improving breathing difficulties associated with various conditions like asthma, hay fever and allergic rhinitis. These conditions trigger an allergic reaction like narrowing of the airway passages like bronchi which in turn leads to difficulty in breathing and chest pain.
REZULUNG D TABLET relaxes the airways, thereby removing the obstruction in the respiratory system and facilitating easy breathing. It also relieves various skin reactions such as itch and rash.
REZULUNG D TABLET is not recommended in patients suffering from various kidney disorders, liver disorders, and heart disorders like an irregular heartbeat (arrhythmia) and chest pain due to an insufficient supply of blood to the heart muscles (myocardial infarction).
REZULUNG D TABLET is not recommended for use by children below the age of 15 years. It is recommended to consult a doctor before taking it, as only he can decide the required dosage of REZULUNG D TABLET based on body mass, age, and the condition of the infection. HOW REZULUNG D TABLET WORKS
REZULUNG D TABLET contains acebrophylline, desloratadine, and montelukast. Acebrophylline is a bronchodilator that helps in relaxing the muscles of the bronchi, thus widening the lumen (bronchodilator) and regulating mucous production and clearance, thus resulting in relief from inflammation (anti-inflammatory property), which provides relief from breathing difficulties.
Desloratadine is a tricyclic antihistamine that helps to control various allergic reactions and also does not make you feel sleepy or drowsy. Montelukast blocks the action of various allergy-producing chemicals in the body (leukotrienes), which provides relief and improves the symptoms of asthma and/or hay fever and/or seasonal allergies like wheezing and breathing difficulty by preventing the narrowing and swelling of lung airways.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Take REZULUNG D TABLET as advised by your physician. Swallow the medicine with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. It is recommended to take medicine thirty to sixty minutes before or after food. HOW TO MANAGE SIDE EFFECTS

Constipation

Eat healthy meals that are rich in fiber. Try to incorporate leafy green vegetables and whole grains into your diet. Take an adequate amount of water. Consult your doctor if it persists for a long time or worsens with time.

Diarrhea

Stick to simple meals. Consume less rich or spicy foods. To compensate for the loss of water and minerals, consume an oral rehydration solution. Stay hydrated. Consult your doctor if it persists for a long time or worsens with time.

Headache

Stay hydrated and get as much rest as you can. Stay away from harsh lights and loud sounds. Apply a pain-relieving balm to your forehead and/or take aspirin or acetaminophen. If the headache persists or worsens, consult your doctor.

Nausea And Vomiting

Stick to simple meals. Consume less rich or spicy foods. Stay hydrated. Consult your doctor if it persists for a long time or worsens with time.

Tiredness

INTERACTIONS

Medicines to treat gout (ex. allopurinol)
Medicines to treat ulcers (ex. cimetidine)
Medicines to relieve inflammatory disorders (corticosteroids)
Medicines to treat infections (ex, ciprofloxacin, erythromycin, amoxicillin, doxycycline)
Medications to treat parasitic (pinworm) infection (ex. thiabendazole)
Medicines to treat heart disorders (ex. diltiazem, verapamil, isoprenaline, frusemide)
Oral medicines for contraception (ex. estrogen)
Medicines to treat epilepsy (ex. phenobarbital, phenytoin)
Medicines used to treat various infections like tuberculosis (ex. rifampicin)
Medicines used to treat increased bad lipids in plasma (ex. gemfibrozil)

Overdosage:
If you or anyone else accidentally take too much of REZULUNG D TABLET, consult your doctor immediately or visit the nearby hospital. Symptoms of overdose are

nausea, severe vomiting, pain in the stomach and blood in vomiting (haematemesis). If abdominal pain persists for a long time, it may indicate inflammation of the pancreas (Pancreatitis). Other symptoms include restlessness, increased tonicity of muscles (hypertonia), exaggerated limb reflexes and convulsions. Increased tendency to sleep and increased thirst can also be experienced on overdosage with REZULUNG D TABLET.
