Vitamin E
Antioxidant factor, it plays an important role in the prevention of the oxidation of polyunsaturated fatty acids, a key event in the development of the lipid peroxidation process which causes damage to biological membranes. Most of the plasma vitamin E found in LDL, VLDL and HDL lipoproteins has a reducing effect.
