Sineall Humana Special – Infant Food for Special Medical Purposes Complete formula for infants with severe poly-allergies / intolerances or severe diarrhea. Formula of only l-amino acids. Free of allergens and lactose. Enriched with vitamins, minerals, trace elements and nucleotides. Also suitable for probe or PEG feeding. Elementary diet, free of antigens, suitable for infants, children and adolescents, with serious pathologies of the gastrointestinal system (allergies, single or multiple food intolerances, of any nature) including diarrhea, intractable malabsorption and inflammatory bowel diseases. It is totally devoid of protein fragments of any nature; it is based only on pure l-amino acids, of high biological value, from glucose polymers and vegetable fats; its formulation is completed with the enrichment of vitamins, minerals, trace elements and nucleotides; the latter necessary to modulate a correct immune response. Due to its special formulation it is also indicated in digestive disorders, malabsorption, exclusion tests and pre-post-surgical nutrition.
Food free of gluten, preservatives and dyes. Free of sweeteners and sucrose. Warnings Humana Special foods, not being complete, cannot be used as the only source of nourishment but must be administered with other nutrients that provide adequate amounts of energy, proteins and / or amino acids (those lacking), essential fats, water, vitamins and minerals in the quantities prescribed by the specialist doctor.
The daily quantity of Humana Special Metabolic Foods must be determined exclusively by the doctor / dietician in relation to the age, body weight, individual tolerance to specific amino acids and the clinical-nutritional conditions of the patient; generally it should be divided into 3-5 meals / di and combined or integrated with breast milk, infant milk, follow-on milk in very early childhood, or with other specific solid or liquid foods of the current diet, always in calculated quantities.
The specific metabolic diet with Humana Special products must necessarily, over time, be constantly updated by the doctor / dietician.
Breast milk is the ideal food for the infant. If breastfeeding is not possible or sufficient, subject to the opinion / prescription of the pediatrician / dietician, it is possible to resort to a food replacement formulated, specific for the diagnosed metabolic pathology. Feeding only with specific food for the infant is not sufficient after the 6th month.
