Sonnentor Organic Turmeric Milk Vanilla – Golden Milk Are you looking for a new drink that will conquer your senses? Do you like vanilla and spicy cinnamon taste? Then you have found your new drink! This spice mix has been finely blended with vanilla extracts to create a yellow-colored drink that is hot-prepared with milk (any type of milk, even soy). The recipe derives from Ayurvedic doctrine, which considers golden milk a healthy drink for body and mind. This yellow-orange powder has a pleasantly spicy and fine scent and aroma, with the prevalence of cinnamon and the sweetness of vanilla and a final taste of licorice. This drink can be prepared following two types of recipes Simple preparation : combine 1 teaspoon of turmeric milk mixture (about 2 grams) with 200 ml of milk (vegetable milk is perfect), heat over low heat, taking care to mix to avoid lumps. Add agave syrup, sugar, honey or coconut flakes for sweetening. Preparation according to Ayurvedic teachings (golden milk) : first, prepare a real pasta. mixing 1/4 cup of turmeric ginger spice for milk with 1/2 cup of water. Slowly bring the mixture to a boil over low heat until it forms a paste. The pasta can be stored for 5-7 days in the refrigerator. (If you want to create only a small portion, take 1 heaping tablespoon (about 8g) of the pasta and mix it with 30 ml of water – bring to the boil over low heat) –
To create your drink, take 1 teaspoon of this paste and mix it in 200ml of milk (vegetable or not), let it cook over medium heat for 4-5 minutes. Add 1 teaspoon of coconut oil and sesame oil and sweeten with agave syrup, sugar, honey or coconut flakes.
