INTRODUCTION
TEARSFLOW 0.5% OPHTHALMIC SOLUTION contains Carboxymethylcellulose, which belongs to the group of medicines called Topical ophthalmic lubricants. It is used to treat dryness of the eye due to exposure to wind or sun and following a laser or cataract eye surgery. It is also used to protect the eyes from further irritation. The symptoms may include discomfort, irritation, burning and foreign body sensation in the eye etc.
Before using TEARSFLOW 0.5% OPHTHALMIC SOLUTION inform your doctor if you wear contact lenses as it is not recommended for use while using this medicine. The associated risks and benefits of using TEARSFLOW 0.5% OPHTHALMIC SOLUTION in children, pregnant and breastfeeding women are unclear.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Eye irritation:
Apply a cold compress to the affected area. A cool compress applied to your closed eyes several times a day will help lessen redness and swelling.
