About this Item
Tenogesik 20 is a non-steroidal antiinflammatory drug (NSAID) with anti inflammatory, analgesic, antipyretic properties and it also inhibits platelet aggregation. Tenogesik 20 inhibits prostaglandin biosynthesis and used in the treatment of inflammatory and degenerative disorders of the musculoskeletal system.

? Tenoxicam works by blocking the effect of chemicals in your body, called cyclo-oxygenase (COX) enzymes ?
?These enzymes help to make other chemicals in the body, called prostaglandins
? Some prostaglandins are produced at sites of injury or damage, and cause pain and inflammation ?
?By blocking the effect of COX enzymes, fewer prostaglandins are produced, which means pain and inflammation are eased ?

Side Effects
The usual side effects are mild and transient gastric, abdominal discomfort, dyspepsia, heartburn, nausea, dizziness, headache, itching, erythema, rash, urticaria, increase in BUN or creatinine, edema and palpitations.
