The glycerin macerates or bud derivatives were born in the 1950s from the research of Dr. Pol Henry of Brussels, who was the first to clinically experiment with plant extracts obtained from metabolically active embryonic (meristematic) plant tissues, such as buds, young shoots and rootlets.
