Anbesol Liquid is used to?help relieve pain and discomfort associated with teething, in children from 5 months of age, when other non-medicinal methods such as massaging of the gums or use of teething rings do not provide necessary relief.
Anbesol liquid helps to quickly relieve pain and discomfort caused by teething, recurring mouth ulcers or denture irritation, when non-medicinal methods such as massaging the gums or use of teething rings do not provide satisfactory relief. Anbesol liquid contains 0.9%w/w of lidocaine hydrochloride, 0.1%w/w of chlorocresol and 0.02%w/w of cetylpyridinium chloride which together work in two ways to stop the painful sensation and kill bacteria to prevent infections.

Anbesol Liquid is available in 10ml bottles and offers targeted oral pain relief from mouth ulcers, denture irritation and also teething where non-medicinal methods have not provided relief.
USES:
Adults and the elderly: temporary relief of pain caused by recurrent mouth ulcers, denture irritation. Children over 5 months: for relief of pain and discomfort associated with teething where non-pharmacological options have failed.
INGREDIENTS:
Active ingredients:?Lidocaine hydrochloride 0.9%w/w, Chlorocresol 0.1%w/w, Cetylpyridinium chloride 0.02%w/w.

DOSAGE:

How to open:
Lift end of lid. Check inner seal is intact before first use . Break inner seal carefully.
How to take:
Adults: For upset stomach, indigestion and over-indulgence, measure one level spoonful (5 ml spoonful) into a glass of water and drink. Take as needed, up to a maximum of 4 times a day.
For constipation. Measure two level spoonfuls (two 5 ml spoonfuls) into a glass of water and drink. Take before breakfast or at bedtime.
Use within 3 months of opening. Check inner seal is intact before first use.
Children over 3 year: Use half the adult dose.
Not suitable for children under 3 years.
If you take too much you may get diarrhoea. If this happens, reduce the dose and the effect should go away.
