During the most recent academic session, Bayero University Kano (BUK) dismissed 29 students for alleged test misconduct.
Three students received one or two semester suspensions, according to the university administration. Three others were cleared of all charges because there was insufficient evidence of their wrongdoing.
A statement sent to LEADERSHIP by Aminu Kurawa, Acting Director of the Directorate of Examinations, Admissions, and Records, confirmed that both undergraduate and graduate students were affected.
