  • Must meet Nigerian Army requirements for physical, mental, and medical fitness.
  • Must possess a current birth certificate or age declaration issued by the Local Government Council, the Hospital, or the National Population Commission.
  • Must hold a current certificate of state of origin.
  • Must not be convicted of any crimes.
  • A City Guild Certificate or Trade Test is necessary for tradesmen and women.

General Guidelines

  • Screening: There is no dedicated recruitment centre; all screening will take place in the state of origin of each candidate.
  • No computer-based pre-selection test is available.
  • Items Prohibited: Steer clear of recording or electronic equipment.
  • Authentic Documents: At the recruitment site, bring all authentic diplomas, from elementary to secondary.
  • Prohibitions: No candidate may fabricate documents, be a member of any cult, or have tattoos.
