NIMC Logo Design Competition

The National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) is holding a national student logo design contest. The NIMC encouraged students to participate in a July 8 X notice signed by corporate communications chief Kayode Adegoke. The 6th National Identity Day competition, “Digital Public Infrastructure: Enabling Access to Services,” wants a logo and a 200-word idea statement.

Legal identity is innate, not acquired. The letter states that the National Identity Management Commission works daily to give every Nigerian and lawful resident a legal identity.

Primary, secondary, and postsecondary students can enter the tournament. Participants must create a NIMC logo and explain the NIN, school/institution name, class/level, design approach, inspiration, benefits over the present logo, graphic style, font, and colors.

Send PDF, JPEG, or PNG entries to [email protected] with “Logo Design” as the topic. NIMC employees and their families cannot participate. Joint designs are allowed. The competition celebrates individual innovation and personality with stringent originality verification. Participation is free, however late entries are not allowed.

August 16 at 4 PM is the submission deadline. At the Identity Day ceremony in Abuja on September 16, the NIMC director-general will distribute prizes to category winners.
