As the InterswitchSPAK National Science Competition winner, Henry Ndudu Ekong, a student at Pegasus School in Akwa Ibom State, will get a scholarship worth N15 million for his postsecondary education, a laptop, and monthly stipends for five years.
The program, which consisted of a 13-week broadcast challenge and a National Qualifying Examination, honoured three remarkable students for their outstanding scientific knowledge and critical thinking abilities, according to a statement from InterswitchSPAK.

David Umeojiaka of Graceland International School in Rivers State placed third with a N5 million scholarship for a year and a laptop, while Eric Denyefa Omare of St. Gregory’s College in Lagos took first runner-up with a N10 million scholarship spread over three years.
Students who finished fourth through ninth also received monetary awards in addition to these top prizes. The top 200 preliminary qualifiers were granted JAMB e-PINs, which allowed them to register for the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) exams for free, while the top 18 semi-finalists and 27 contributing professors also earned financial prizes.
