A wonderful narrative has come from Nigeria, where Chidera Ikeoha, a gifted Primary 6 student, created a book and sold it on the street and at motor parks, eventually winning a scholarship for life.
Social media quickly became aware of Chidera’s inspirational journey, and a post that went viral on X (previously Twitter) highlighted his unwavering attitude as he sold and promoted his artwork in several Enugu parks.
Additionally, the message included a striking picture of the book’s cover, which attracted a lot of attention from the public.

EduCare intervened and gave Chidera a lifelong scholarship shortly after his story gained traction. The organisation intends to publish his book on Amazon and provide all-encompassing support to further his success in addition to paying for his education.
“Meet Nigeria’s youngest author, Chidera Ikeoha, who wrote a book in Primary 6 and took his hustle to the streets of Enugu,” read the original piece introducing Chidera.
After then, there was an update declaring: “Excellent news! EduCare has awarded Chidera Ikeoha a lifetime scholarship. He will be removed from the streets to concentrate on his studies, and his book will be sold on Amazon.
Social media was a flurry of activity as the story spread, with many users sharing their opinions and applauding Chidera’s achievement.
