ABUAD Best Computer Engineering Graduating Student Receives First-Class Honors
Modupe Akintan has achieved a historic milestone by becoming the highest-achieving student in the Computer Engineering department at Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti (ABUAD). She achieved an outstanding Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 4.84 out of 5.00. This led to her well-deserved first-class honors degree.
Akintan has received much praise for his exceptional academic accomplishments. She received recognition as the top graduating student in Computer Engineering at the institution and has also achieved a Microsoft certification.
Modupe expressed her enthusiasm for her achievements in a LinkedIn post. She proudly announced that she graduated from Afe Babalola University as the top-performing student in the Department of Computer Engineering, with a Cumulative Grade Point Average (C.G.P.A) of 4.84 out of 5.00. Additionally, she was admitted as a Graduate member of the Azure Expert.
Modupe demonstrated exceptional academic achievement despite the difficulties of managing her education with extensive participation in several groups. She held multiple leadership positions at ABUAD, including being a member. She was the editor-in-chief of the Student Representative Council, the first co-academic secretary of the Nigerian Universities Engineering Student Association. And the inaugural student branch chairman of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) at the university.
